Reiki Healing
Reiki originated in ancient Japan with its founder Mikao Usui. Dr. Usui was a monk who made a pilgrimage to the peak of Mount Kurama and during an intense meditation he was greeted by a glowing ball of energy that taught him the secrets to activating the body's own natural healing.
After learning these fundamental practices he began healing the poor in Japan, and soon the word of Reiki's miracles began to spread. He taught others how to pass on the healing practice and soon it came to America. Reiki teachings and energy can only be passed down from Master to student and it is for this reason that each practitioner can trace their teaching lineage back to Dr. Usui himself.

Reiki in the modern age is used in hospitals around the world for easing aches and pain, lowering blood pressure, calming anxiety, and a host of other benefits. It is also widely used in hospice services to help smooth the transition of loved ones who are passing on.

Reiki is traditionally performed with the client laying down or in a seated position and the practitioner hovers their hands or lightly places them in various positions to allow for the body's energy to properly begin to flow. Reiki can also be sent over a distance to those in need.

Reiki Classes and Attunements
Reiki Practitioners must be attuned to the Universal Life Force Energy (Reiki) before they are able to move it, these classes will create a bond with that energy, strengthen it, and allow you to pass it on to others
